This is the approach to toddlerhood. So we look to stimulating their brain development as they develop physically, mentally, socially and emotionally.
1. Staff to be fully vaccinated (Boosters when available)
2. Children will be grouped in clusters that will stay for a period of time i.e. same kids in the same group. The cluster is expected to remain constant on a weekly basis.
3. They will play both indoor and outdoor games together, eat together and will remain in the same groups until departure
4. Must have PCR tests before the start – both teachers and children
5. Temperatures taken on arrival and at departure
6. Hand washing as they arrive, before meals, after toileting and outdoor play
7. Children to be received and sent off at the door
8. In case of sickness the child will be taken to the clinic (where one is on site) and then taken to the parent. Any children who are taken ill must be kept away from the crèche until they are fully recovered

Reading stories with (or without) the help of interactive toys (that may or may not have music) that the toddler can access by pressing keys is introduced.
May begin to show their readiness for toilet training. This is a sensitive stage and should become apparent from observing the child.
